Bethesda Healing Ministry is grateful to offer a confidential safe place where anyone hurting from abortion can come for healing, prayer and love.
Our sessions are held twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Mondays. They include a light meal followed by a warm welcome. A priest chaplain is an important part of the ministry team; he begins each session with prayer and reflection on the Gospel of the day. Individuals are offered the freedom to introduce themselves or to remain quiet.
The session is facilitated by a trained Companion which is often a priest. The session will end with all to gather for closing prayer and blessing.
Days: 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month

After An Abortion
Although post-abortion trauma is largely ignored by society, we as a Christian community recognize that abortion wounds the body, soul and spirit. Unfortunately, many medical and mental health professionals may not recognize abortion as a potential source of distress in those seeking help. Notably, individuals may experience a worsening of depression or anxiety around the anniversary of the abortion procedure or the expected birth date of the child.
